This, I think, is one of the worst parts of being LGBT+. You know, besides being constantly oppressed for who we are. LGBT+ people are constantly fetishized or seen as a goal to fulfill. You know what I'm talking about. Straight men getting off to lesbian porn. Straight women who really want a 'gay best friend' but refuse to be friends with sapphic women because they 'don't want to be hit on'. People looking at trans men and going 'uwu what a soft bean!1!1'. People seeing trans women and saying 'look that's my muscle wife, she'll beat you up'. Constantly asking bi or pan people to have a threesome because they go both ways, right? The list goes on.
If you do this, you need to just stop. Especially since people like this can be such hypocrites. If I had to take a guess, if you're that het man who gets off to the porn, you're the same person who hits on lesbians and say that you could 'change their mind' (and then say that gay men hitting on straight men, even if its an accident, is predatory?) Those people asking for gay best friends can't even defend them because 'they don't agree with it'. Yeah, no. LGBT+ people are actual humans, with real lives and actual personalities. We are not here to be sexual desires or a trophy friend. If you do any of this, you're phobic. If you think like this, you're phobic. If you support people who do any of these things, you're phobic, and a coward, at that. LGBT+ people are sick an tired of this. We have enough problems to deal with than people who act like this. Y'all probably think you're allies to, right? You're wrong. Fix yourself if you think like this. You are feeding into the stereotypes and stigma around the LGBT+ community. You can't like this and be sad next time you hear something bad has happened to us. Because then it's obvious you don't care. You don't. You just act like it, just so you can check off the next box on you gay to-do list or whatever else you dumb cis hets have. It's infuriating. Anyway, I'm done going off. Sorry for the huge break in posting, I've been unmotivated and preoccupied :(. I'll try getting back to a more regular posting schedule. See y'all soon. ~Cas (be gay do crime)
